This semester course will explore a variety of imaginative writing. Some areas of study are poetry, short stories, drama, advertising, and television. Each student will submit a final project at the end of the semester and this will be worth 20% of the final grade. Each student will also be responsible for keeping and creating a portfolio of their work throughout the semester, which will be worth 10% of their grade. This class is for students who are interested in refining their writing skills and who have mastered sentence structure, grammar usage, and punctuation.

Prerequisite:  ‘C’ average in English classes
