I've taught K-3 Special Education in the Silver Lake District for 4 years. This will be my first year to teach second grade.
I was a licensed daycare provider in Silver Lake for 18 years prior to teaching at Silver Lake.
I've been married to my husband, George Anderson, for 25 years. George and I met in high school. We both are Silver Lake graduates. He graduated in 1986 and I graduated in 1988. We have 3 children. Our oldest daughter, Chelsea, is a recent Washburn University graduate and earned her BSN. She is also a graduate of Silver Lake. She is married to Mark Herrmann. We also have twin boys, Lucas and Logan, who are 16 years old. They will be attending Seaman High School. They are juniors. In 2012, our second child, Thomas, passed away. He had Cerebral Palsy and was a SPED student at Silver Lake. He was 14 years old and a joy and a gift to our family. We dearlymiss him.
I love the beach! I will live in Florida on a beach someday!
