This year will be my 31^st year of teaching! I was in Wichita for three years - teaching all-day kindergarten one year and first grade for two years. Once I arrived in Silver Lake, I have been teaching first grade ever since! :)

I have an amazing family! I have been married to my husband, Rod, for twenty five years. Together we have four children. I have two step-daughters, Lindsey and Chelsea. They are 37 and 35 years old. Lindsey lives in Colorado and is quite the entrepreneur! Chelsea lives here in Silver Lake and is a working mom!  Chelsea has two children. Brody is 15 years old and in ninth grade this year and Marley is 9 and in the fourth grade. We also have two boys. Cooper is 22 years old and he does two theater programs at KState for individuals with special needs and also works at Topeka Civic Theater. Jarrett is 18 and is a freshman at Emporia State University! :) He is majoring in elementary education and minoring in both music and Spanish. We also have a dog that is definitely a member of the family. Her name is Mya and she is a toy Australian shepherd! 

If I am not spending time at school :) then I am spending time with my family! We love cheering on the K-State Wildcats and being involved in the theater!
